- 1 cup vegetable broth

- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
- In a large pot, sauté onion and garlic until softened.
- Add tomato puree, vegetable broth, heavy cream, basil, salt, and pepper. Cook for 15 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, cheddar cheese, melted butter, and milk until just combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dumpling mixture into the simmering soup.
- Cover and simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
Notes
