Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 cup carrots, chopped
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, garlic, and ginger; sauté until fragrant.
  3. Stir in gochujang and soy sauce, mixing well.
  4. Add chicken and cook until slightly browned.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  6. Add potatoes and carrots; simmer until tender.
  7. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more gochujang to taste.
  • Serve with steamed rice for a complete meal.
