- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup raspberry jam
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 package puff pastry (2 sheets)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the sourdough discard, cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into squares.
- Place a spoonful of raspberry jam and the cream cheese mixture in the center of each square.
- Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and seal them.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
