This Simple Oven-Baked Beef and Potato Bake is a wholesome and comforting dish perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 cups potatoes, sliced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef with onions and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the cooked beef, cream of mushroom soup, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, followed by the beef mixture, then the remaining potatoes.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil and cover with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes, then remove foil and sprinkle cheese on top.
  7. Bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
