Description

Delicious and healthy cabbage burgers baked on a sheet pan for a quick and easy meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head green cabbage
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 8 slices cheese (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the cabbage into thick slices and place on a large sheet pan.
  3. In a bowl, mix ground beef, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. Scoop the beef mixture onto the cabbage slices, forming burger patties.
  5. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the beef is cooked through.
  6. If using cheese, add a slice on top of each burger in the last few minutes of cooking.
  7. Remove from the oven and serve hot.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, use a plant-based burger patty.
  • Serve with your favorite condiments.
  • These burgers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
