Description

A rich and creamy cheese dip made with chorizo that is perfect for parties or game day!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chorizo sausage
  • 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper


Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chorizo until browned and cooked through.
  2. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Reduce heat to low and stir in the Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses until melted.
  4. Mix in garlic powder, cumin, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper.
  5. Transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle with chopped cilantro.
  6. Serve warm with tortilla chips or bread.
