Description

A delicious and healthy stir-fry loaded with mushrooms and tofu, perfect for a quick meal.


Ingredients

  • 12 ounces firm tofu, cubed
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds


Instructions

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture and cut it into cubes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add tofu cubes and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add mushrooms and bell pepper, stirring frequently for another 5 minutes.
  5. Add garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil, stirring to combine.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  7. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other vegetables like broccoli or carrots.
  • Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
  • Make it spicier by adding red pepper flakes or sriracha.
