A creamy and delicious Mexican-inspired drink that combines the flavors of chocolate and cinnamon.
Ingredients

- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee
- Ice for serving
Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Combine the rinsed rice and water in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Strain the rice mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large bowl, discarding the solids.
- Add milk, sugar, cocoa powder, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and brewed espresso to the rice water and stir well.
- Chill the mixture in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
- Serve over ice and enjoy!
Notes
- This drink is best served chilled.
- Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
- For a richer flavor, use chocolate milk instead of regular milk.
