- 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup rice, uncooked
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef with onions and garlic until browned.
- Stir in the cabbage and cook for a few minutes until slightly softened.
- Add in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, rice, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and cover with foil.
- Bake for 1 hour or until the rice is tender.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add some Italian seasoning to the meat mixture.
- This casserole can be made ahead of time and reheated.
