Description

A deliciously sweet and creamy cheesecake filling wrapped in King’s Hawaiian rolls, perfect for brunch or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 package King’s Hawaiian rolls
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup fresh berries (for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Unroll King’s Hawaiian rolls and flatten each piece.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each roll.
  5. Fold the rolls over the filling and pinch to seal.
  6. Place shaped rolls in a baking dish.
  7. Beat the egg and brush over the rolls.
  8. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden.
  9. Allow to cool and dust with powdered sugar and lemon juice.
  10. Top with fresh berries before serving.

  • For a sweeter version, you can add more sugar to the cream cheese mixture.
