- 1 package King’s Hawaiian rolls
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup fresh berries (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Unroll King’s Hawaiian rolls and flatten each piece.
- Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each roll.
- Fold the rolls over the filling and pinch to seal.
- Place shaped rolls in a baking dish.
- Beat the egg and brush over the rolls.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden.
- Allow to cool and dust with powdered sugar and lemon juice.
- Top with fresh berries before serving.
Notes
- For a sweeter version, you can add more sugar to the cream cheese mixture.
- Feel free to use other fruits for topping as per your taste.
