This delightful casserole combines creamy cheese, fresh blueberries, and the comforting flavors of French toast.
Ingredients

- 1 loaf stale bread (French or challah)
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut the bread into cubes and place half in a greased baking dish.
- Spread the cream cheese in dollops over the bread cubes and sprinkle half of the blueberries on top.
- Layer the remaining bread cubes and blueberries.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread and blueberries.
- Drizzle melted butter over the entire casserole.
- Let it sit for at least 30 minutes or overnight in the fridge.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown and set in the center.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
