- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Add water gradually until dough forms.
- In a skillet, cook ground beef with onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and paprika over medium heat until browned.
- Roll out the dough and cut into circles. Fill each with the beef mixture and cheese.
- Fold the dough over to form half-moons and seal the edges.
- Brush with egg wash and bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, use black beans instead of ground beef.
- These can be frozen before baking for a quick meal later.
