Description

A traditional Hungarian dish known for its rich paprika sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons sweet paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour


Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
  3. Add the chicken thighs, brown on both sides.
  4. Stir in paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add chicken broth, cover, and simmer until chicken is cooked.
  6. Mix sour cream and flour, stir into the skillet, and heat through without boiling.
  7. Serve over egg noodles or rice.
