Description

This homemade nacho cheese dip is creamy, cheesy, and perfect for parties!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Whisk in the flour and let it cook for about 1 minute.
  3. Gradually add the milk while whisking continuously until the mixture thickens.
  4. Stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
