Description

These French Dip Sliders are packed with flavor and perfect for feeding a crowd. Tender beef, melted cheese, and a savory au jus make these sliders a hit!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 slider buns
  • 12 slices provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the beef chuck roast on all sides until browned.
  3. Transfer the roast to a slow cooker and pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender and easily shredded.
  5. Once cooked, shred the beef with two forks and return it to the slow cooker to soak up the juices.
  6. Toast slider buns in the oven for about 5 minutes.
  7. Assemble the sliders by placing shredded beef on the bottom of each bun, topping with a slice of provolone cheese, and covering with the top bun.
  8. Serve with small bowls of the remaining au jus for dipping.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add sautéed onions or peppers to your sliders.
  • This recipe can easily be doubled for a larger crowd.
  • Make sure to use quality beef broth for the best flavor.
