Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for icing)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add melted butter, salt, and eggs. Mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  6. Spread softened butter on the dough, and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
  8. Place rolls in a baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
  9. Bake at 375°F for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Mix powdered sugar and milk for icing and drizzle over warm rolls.
