Description

Deliciously fluffy dinner rolls infused with a buttery, garlicky spread, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, sugar, salt, and melted butter. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.
  3. Cover the bowl with a towel and let it rise for about 1 hour.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Shape dough into rolls and place on a baking sheet.
  6. In a small bowl, mix garlic, parsley, paprika, and black pepper to create the cowboy butter.
  7. Brush the rolls with the cowboy butter mixture.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, let the rolls rest with the cowboy butter applied before baking.
  • Add cheese to the dough for a cheesy variation.
