A quick and healthy stir-fry featuring tender chicken and crisp green beans, flavored with a delicious sauce.

- 1 pound chicken breast, sliced into thin strips
- 2 cups green beans, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the chicken, soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper. Marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated chicken to the pan and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add garlic and ginger; stir-fry for another minute until fragrant.
- Add the green beans and water, cover, and steam for 3-4 minutes until beans are tender-crisp.
- Remove the lid and stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes to evaporate the excess liquid.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
- Serve with rice or noodles for a complete meal.
