- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Season the brisket with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the brisket on both sides until browned.
- Transfer the seared brisket to a roasting pan, fat side up.
- Pour beef broth and BBQ sauce over the brisket.
- Cover the roasting pan tightly with foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 3 to 4 hours, or until the meat is fork-tender.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 20 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- For best results, let the brisket marinate overnight with the spices before cooking.
- You can serve the brisket with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
